Rajamouli, speaking on the KGF movie release event, confessed that he was blown away by the visuals and movie clips and says that it is a pan India movie and is going to be a blockbuster. With the quality of the trailer and the fame of Prashanth Neel, one would expect nothing less from KGF. This is expected to be a gift of 2018.

This period movie is set up in the late 70s with the lead actor taking the role of an ambitious man at that time. The plot of the movie would focus on slavery and domination of certain sections of people – poor and downtrodden. Hero of the movie would stand up for reform and justice.

This movie is being released by AA Films in Hindi, Hombale Films in Kannada, Vaarahi Chalana. Chitram in Telugu and Vishal Film Factory in Tamil. The narration of the movie is given by the much acclaimed Ananth Nag while music is given by Ravi Basrur. It is scheduled to be released on 21st December 2018.
